Some 18,000 employers covered by the unemployment law reported paying wages of $606,298,467 up to June 30, com pared with $622,206,355 in the same period of 1953 and $593, 539,441 two years ago. Employ ment dropped off even more markedly with every month be low the corresponding period of 1953. Best increases came from Sherman county with 23.7 per cent. Curry with 21.2 per cent, Gilliam with 18.7 per cent and Morrow with 15.2 per cent. He did. But he's still trying to figure out what it means. Lt. Edward. J. Shea said he was "very honored" to have re ceived a letter from such a "great man" in reply to a letter he had written, and he intends to keep reading the answer for years if necessary :until he gets it figured ot. Einstein Answers Shea asked Einstein to state his beliefs about government. "I disagree with him in . some of the things he's said, but I think he's a fine man and a great man and a kindly old man. I , feel very honored to have received his reply.
