INTENDED VICTIM James Ricco, 38, comforts his chil dren, Sharon, 5V; Stephanie, 7, and Pamela, 9 (holding dog, Brandy), in their home in New York. Police arrested Ricco's wife and two other women, on a charge of con spiracy to commit murder. Cab driver Fred Bezer told police the women wanted him to run Ricco over with his cab, killing him, so Mrs. Ricco could collect $3000 insur ance and then sue the cab company for $100,000 damages. Wayne Morse, i Oregon Independent who bolted the Republican party in 1952, charged that the GOP is so split ! into "various congolmerations of discord and hisharmony" that it Fugitives Found In Old Mine Tunnel By Cop, Newsman Las Vesas (U.R) Three Clark county jail fugitives, in cluding one murder suspect, were captured early today in an abandoned mine tunnel by a po lice detective and a reporter. The trio and a woman com panion were taken into custody about 10 miles east of this gamb ling resort by policeman Paul Deweert and Colin McKinlay, city - editor for the Las Vegas Sun. . Police said a woman's tiD that she saw some men near the ab- 'andoned Frenchman Mine led a group of police to the scene. -While others were searching the general mine area, Deweert and McKinlay, both armed, entered the mine and finally came upon the .escapees asleep at the end of a tunnel. Escape Yesterday Deweert held a rifle on the group while McKinlay went for help. The trio which escaped yester day after overpowering a jailer was identified as Walter Sefton, 32, who was to go on trial today on charges of murdering a wo man, J. D. Tucker, 33, and Clif ford F. Lair, 31, held on forg ery charges. Police said a wo : man identified as Deborah Faye i Vassar, 22, was with the men . and was believed partly respon '; sible for the escape. Police said she had been allowed to sleep in the jail Saturday night. Sefton was arrested in Flint, Mich., last spring and allegedly admitted the fatal stabbing of 'Jacqueline Kelly, 42, Las Vegas, last Dec. 22. may disappear entirely. . Morse made the statement in commenting on the condemna tion of Sen. 'Joseph R.
