This happened on Greyhound's Great Southwest escorted tour, which I enjoyed recently. We stopped at a famous Wickenburg dude ranch,, and went sightseeing around Phoenix. An evening in exotic Juarez, Mexico,, was an exciting feature 'of our stay in El Paso.-Carlsbad Caverns and a stop-over in picturesque Old Santa Fe were other wonderful events. We toured the Indian Country via Albu querque,' Gallup and Flagstaff, and Society ond Clubs Central Point Club To Meet Wednesday Central Point "Home Decora tions," will be the title of the program for members" of the Central Point Garden club meet ing Wednesday, December 1, at 11 a.m., at the home of Mrs. C. W. Anhorn. A potluck luncheon is planned. Those with names beginning with the letters A through J should take hot dishes for the luncheon. Those whose names begin with the letters J through Z are to take salads. Dessert will be served by the hostess. "Wrap Your Gift With Gla mour,'' will be the name of an other topic for the day. A gift exchange of plants also will be held. The roll call will be answered by information re garding the Oregon grape. Griffin Creek Group Plans Meeting Friday Griffin Creek "Appetizing Meals," will be the project les son for members of the Griffin Creek Home Extension unit Fri day, December 3, at the home of Mrs. Byron Dibble, 1122 West 11th street. The session will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each member attending the meeting is asked to take a gift for an exchange. The gifts should be handmade or not to exceed 50 cents in cost. Mrs. Parker, a past noble grand, has invited both clubs to her home for this occasion, Monday, December 20. Mrs. Paul Malloy, blood bank chairman for Gold Hill, reported that seven Amethyst Rebekahs had volunteered to give blood December 14 at Rogue River. The lodge is invited to attend a friendship night meeting at Hope Rebekah lodge in Ashland on December 14 at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Graffis aopointed Mrs. Ferd Jones, Mrs. William Fields, Mrs. James Clement and Mrs. William Hall on the December refreshment committee. Family Leaves After Visit Here Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gray and small son, Michael, Salem, and Bob Gray, senior at he Univer sity of Oregon, left Sunday after spending Thanksgiving here with Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Gray, Cherry lane. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Richard Henselman were hosts for a small bridge party which honored Mr. and Mrs. Jim Gray. The party was at the Hen selman's home, 333 Ardmore avenue. Meeting Planned By Club and Lodge Wenonah club will meet Thursday, December 2, at 10 a.m. at Redman hall.
