After starting treament, he makes regular reports to the Col lins firm in Oklahoma City, and a trichologist will return to check his progress periodically. Friday, November 12, 1954 College Group To Conduct Services; Instructor Here The young people of Friends church will be hosts this week end to a team of students from George Fox college, Newberg. The students will conduct serv ices at the church Friday and Saturday, at 7:30 p.m., and Sun day, at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. ' ' In charge of the college group will be Dr. Arthur Roberts, pro fessor of religion and psychol ogy, who will speak during the 11 a.m. worship hour, Sunday. Dr. Roberts has been heard on the "Quaker Hour" broadcast substituting for Milo. Ross. Young people making up the team, will be Orville Winters, student body president of the college and a ministerial stu dent, who will speak at one of the services and play trumpet solos; Roland Hartley, Talent, trombonist, who will also speak, and a girls' trio, Mardella Cogs well and Marilea Curryer, Spo kane, Wash., and Janette Had ley, Star, Ida.. A dinner will be given by the high school students of the church Friday at 6 p.m., in the church social hall in honor of the visiting guests. Sunday marks the closing day of the Sunday school contest. A goal of 300 is set. College young people will participate in the opening exercises of the Sun day school at 9:45 a.m. The public is invited to all services. Couple To Speak At Free Methodist The Rev. Ronald and Mrs. Collett, missionaries, will speak to members of the Free Metho dist church congregation Sun day,, at . 7:30 p. m. The church is located at West 10th and Ivy sts. They also will show color films with sound effects. The picture was produced by the Rev. Mr. Collett before they left the missionary field to return re cently to this country on fur lough. The couple went to the Ruanda-Urandi field in Africa eight years ago and they were one of the first married couples to arrive in that country in the response to a call from the late Rev. J. W. Haley. They pio neered two mission stations, Kayero and Kiluve. The Rev. Mr. Collett has been the superintendent of the field for several years. Revival Continues At Holiness Church - A revival at the Pilgrim Holi ness church,' East Jackson at Bessie sts., is continuing with the evangelist, the Rev. W. E. Honey- THE REV. MR. Contest Will Close v At Eagle Point Church Eagle Point A nationwide Christian Life contest in which the Eagle Point Community Bible Sunday school has been engaged will close Sunday, Nov. 14. The day will be designated as "Victory Sunday" and a potluck dinner will be served at the Grange hall immediately after the morning worship service. Those attending are to take table services. KRAUSE New Bethel Pastor And Family Arrive The Rev. Lawrence D. Krause with his wife and two children arrived here this week from Bakersfield, Calif., to take up his duties as pastor of the Bethel Assembly of God. He succeeds the Rev. Ernest L. Friend. Before accepting his call to Medford, the Rev. Mr. Krause was pastor of ari Assembly of God church in Bakersfield. In connection with his duties in that city, he conducted a Sunday radio broadcast which had its beginning in 1932. The Rev. Mr. Krause will preach at both the 11 a. m. and 7:30 p. m. services Sunday.
