Grants Pass out of top spot with
a 6 to 0 victory.
It was final gam of the regu
lar season for Grants Pass. Glen
dale has one more game, playing
Butt Falls next Sunday, and
must beat the Loggers to claim
the title.
In the only other game yester
day Butte Falls took over sole
possession of third place in the
circuit by topping Central Point
17 to 11. Ashland claimed a foT
feit win from Riddle which has
dropped from the league.

Variety of Fish
We're back at the grid after,
vacation, during part of which
we learned something about the
variety of fish in Lake O' Woods.
Caught a crappie, a sucker, a
carp, a catfish, several perch and
two trout. Took us a couple of
days to discover we weren't
trolling deep enough.
How About Mush Ball
Its possibly a bit too early to
think much now about next
year's Softball season. But we
picked up an idea during our
vacation that might interest the
old has-beens who are still in
terested in getting their ex
ercise. While at Springfield we
were told of the Willalane Lini
ment League which is said to be
"for the more mature players."
It's a real Softball loop. A soft
softball or mush" ball is used.
Service clubs make up the
league and the participants have
lots of fun. What about a similar
league for Medford's "older
boys?"
