74,608 Visit Museum
Since Doors Opened
Jacksonville Visitors in . th e
number of 74,608 have register
ed at the Jacksonville Museum
since the doors were opened on
July 9, 1950. -
Figures for the two fiscal
years, which ended Wednesday,
were made public today by the
curator, Mrs. Myrtle P. Lee who
said visitation increased greatly
in the second year. So far this
spring and summer the number
entering the museum has been
particularly large on Sundays
and the throngs have included
thousands of tourists and other
out-of-town people, according to
the curator.
The little eye catchers that
women love, like tucked vestees,
double revers, pretty detachable
pique, are money-saving ways of
perking up an old dress. To keep
them clean, wash them in bead-
bluing, hot suds and add a small
amount of bluing wax ironing
aid to the hot starch. This gives
the finishing touch that speaks
success.
