Loan Firm's Assets
Increase $1,000,000
Assets of the Jackson County
Federal Savings and Loan asso
ciation increased more than
$1,000,000 during the past year,
it was announced Saturday by
W. J. Warner, president, and
John H. Pletsch, secretary.
They said the board of direct
ors is pleased with the trend in
javings and mortgage loans.
Warner said "From all indica
tions, the savings trend will be
ap, due to the increase in popu
lation and the steady employ
ment throughout the Rogue
River valley. The total savings
in the association during the
past year have increased more
than $862,000, and it now has
savings accounts totaling S6,
002,899.58. The public would be
interested to know that the 3
per cent dividend for the six
months ending June 30, 1952,
resulted in savings to county in
vestors of $82,611.97."
Commenting on governmental
building restrictions, Pletsch
said he has no doubt that new
construction has been curtailed
by them. However, he said, the
association has closed more
than $1,700,000 in mortgage
loans in the past year.
