Idaho, to attend the Standard Insurance company's 1952 Leaders' club convention being held there this week. Fabrick represents Stand ard in Medford and qualified for the 1952 convention by his sales record during the past year. To Victoria Conclave Fred F. Sears, 328 North Oakdale ave nue, Medford representative of the Prudential Insurance com pany, has qualified for attend ance at the 1952 western leaders conference at Victoria, British Columbia, according to a com pany release. The conference will be held June 29 to July 1. To Florida Mrs. Lloyd E. Dyer and infant daughter, Nola Lee, left yesterday via United Airlines for Florida. Mrs. Dyer will join her husband, former Medford resident and Medford high school graduate, who re cently completed a navy course as aviation electrician. He will be stationed on the west coast upon completion of further train ing. Dyer is a son of Mrs. George Distell, 2255 Springbrook road, Karen, 18-month-old daughter of the Dyers, will remain with the Distells. DAV Installation Jackson county chapter, Disabled Ameri can Veterans, and auxiliary, will install officers Friday at 8 p. m. at Lincoln school auditorium. George W. Simmons, commander of DAV District 5, will be the in stalling officer and state depart ment officers of the DAV and auxiliary will also be present. Entertainment, including music by the Camp White orchestra. will be provided and a buffet luncheon will be served. Offi cers elect will meet at the school at 8:00 p. m. Wednesday night to practice. Florida Vacation Spending his vacation in Florida is John Graff, office manager of Mann's Department store. Barnum Jr., of the United Stales air force is spending two weeks with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Berthold Barnum, South Pacific highway. Lieuten ant Barnum recently completed his cadet training at Reese air force base in Lubbock, Tex., and next is to be assigned to jet plane training in Georgia. . Annual Dinner Medford Trail Riders annual steak dinner will be served from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 29 at Hidden Val ley ranch in the Tolo district. Members are selling tickets. Perl funeral home is in charge of funeral arrangements. OSCAR PETERSON Funeral services for Oscar (Pete) Peterson, 62, of 310 West Jackson street, who died at a local hospital Wednesday, will be held at Perl funeral home Friday at 7:30 p.mr with the Rev. W. A. Dawes, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Inter ment will be Saturday morning at Siskiyou Memorial park. The deceased, who had been a resident of this community for the past 56 years, was born in Wasco, Neb., on Feb. 9, 1891. Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn, and four sons, John, DuWayne, Marvin and Dudley, all of Medford, and a sister, Anna Peterson, Portland. DELOS WRIGHT Funeral services for Delos A. Wright, 72, a resident of the Steamboat area since 1904 who died at a local hospital Tuesday, will be held at Steamboat ceme tery Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev, Don H. Byers of the Cen tral Church of Christ officiating. Funeral arrangements are in care of Chapel mortuary. The deceased was born in Michigan on Jan. 31, 1880, and came to Jackson county in 1904, where he located in the Steam boat area where he had a long and colorful history in the opera tion of several mining claims. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. George LaLone, in Michi gan; another sister in Michigan, and several nieces, nephews and cousins in the middle west. LYNDE SALES Services for Lynde Allen Sales, 54, who died Monday, will be held In Conger-Morris Chapel Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev, E. J. Clark and the Masonic lodge officiating. The remains will lie in state until time for services at the Conger-Morris chapel. Interment will be at Bozeman, Mont. Mr. Sales was born May 30, 1898, in Bozeman. On July 10, 1939, in Townsend, Mont., he was married to Edythe Burgan Clark, who survives. He was a veteran of World War I, serving from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31, 1918, as a private, Co. "C", 308th Bn Tank Corps. He also saw service with Battery "B", 50th Coast Artillery. He was u member of Eastgate Lodge No. 182, A. F. & A. M., Portland, and of Med ford Consistory, Scottish Rite; and of the Presbyterian church at Phoenix. He had been a resi dent of Oregon for the past 10 years, and of Medford for almost three years.
