PRESENT STATE OF THE BABY BUSINESS

business, and
from this sur

make these ob

1. Doctori,

parents to
day do not make a practice of
doping babies with opium
(that is, laudanum, paregoric,
cough syrups, colic 'cures) as
they did when you and I wore
didies.
2. Nowadays parents who are
not morons give their babies
a break in the way of clean

comfortable clothing and bed
covers or none if weather and
common sense so indicate,
pure wholesome food and pro

and relatives.
3. Improvement in the business
is slow because so many
American parents, politicians
and educators remain uncon

be requisite for entrance to
high school. In Yankeeland it

this area for Fleetwood trailer

owners plan to enlarge present
space for showing of trailer
houses by moving a building on
the lot. It Is planned to show ap

work is completed.
At the present time, the firm
Is showing a complete line of 12
to 35 foot Fleetwood trailers.
Later, they plan to show second
hand trailers and will sell and
exchange various types of trail
ers, according to Abbott.
Is desirable that children
learn how to drive an automo
bile but not quite proper that
they should learn how to
bathe, feed and dress a baby.
This reluctance to teach fu
ture parents how to care for
their children is not just
squeamisiiiicso, um im6j
attitude determined by the
price of sugar.
