In addition to providing head' quarters for the four Legion auxiliaries . (Medford, Ashland, Central Point and Grants Pass) which make periodic visitations, Mrs. Williams' office grants small loans. Men who are temporarily out of funds and drawing pension may "borrow" for incidental ne- .cessities. For those who are ex tremely hard up and worthy, a small cash loan may be advanc ed until "pay day. "I have found the veterans to be very reliable in these trans actions," Mrs. Williams says. "Of course, I miss out with a few, but I guess that is the way it is In all such undertakings: She estimates that an average of 125 men are currently using this service. In addition to this responsi bility.
