D. then informs me that she h a srl't gall stones and so the doctors doubt whether an opera lion will bring re lief to her dis tress and lack of energy . . The main reason why I shy away from the subject, Mrs. Dakota, is that I'm afraid of what the printers will do to my copy. Years of experience have taught me that the less I try to say In this column about gall bladder trouble the better. In the booklet So You Have i Indigestion? I tell all about it j which isn't much and give In- i structions for non surgical drainage of the gall bladder. Some readers report that they have had highly satisfactory re sults from this. Others report that the recipe merely made a mess they couldn't swallow. The only way to account for this Is to Infer that the druggist supplied something "Just as good or "bet ter" in place of the elixir of lactated pepsin. In any case, if the stuff doesn't please you there's nothing I can do about it. You're stuck with It. So far as I'm concerned It is a closed inci dent when I receive your two bits and stamped, self-addressed envelope and send you your copy of the booklet. If you don't like the looks of the medicine, tell the druggist about it. The drawback about two pre ventive or remedial measures I recommend for any one who has gall gladder trouble or a suspic ion thereof, Is that you can't take 'em In "shots," in capsules or on a spoon. These measures are (1) belly breathing exercise night and morning, and (2) six somersaults first thing every morning. Even then. I seldom catch my friend'. va.i Irnnu, what . . . I jVlrS. a.E.
