SUNDAY, APRIL , 1932 A Medford Church Grows By OLIVE STARCHER Sunday, March 30, was an important c.te for First Presbyterian church in Medford, for on that day the church dedicated a substantial new addition to the church edifice, an addition made necessary by the growth of the congregation in recent years. Members and friends of the church gathered at 10:15 a.m. last Sunday for the dedication, . and shown below are a part of the nudience. Weeks of preparation preceded the actual dedi cation ceremony, and one of the final tasks was cleaning of the newly completed addition. Shown upper left are (left to right) Mrs. Jack R. They Kirkland West, wife of Doctor West, pastor of the church; Mrs. R. E. Mencke and John Duffy. One of the important committees of First Pre byterian church is the housing committee. It members, pictured lower left, during a meeting in the home of Mrs. Elbert Lenox, are (seated, left to right) Mrs. Bert R. Kenyon, Mrs. B. F. Coleman, Mrs. Bert R. Elliott and Mrs. Chester Wendt; (standing, left to right) Mrs. Lenox, Mr. E. R. Hoppe, Mrs. Robert Cator and Mrs. G. T. Haupert. But four women have served First Presbyterian church as trustees.
