Churches of the denomi nation, including the one here, seek $273,000 in one day's offerings for a hospital in Nigeria and another in Ethiopia. Church School Unit Dedication Medford Presbyterians will pass a mile stone in their church history on Sunday at 10:15 a.m. when the doors of the new church, school unit will be open ed with a formal dedication in front of the church at Eighth and Holly streets. The new unit, made necessary by the rapid growth of the church school during the past two years, will increase the ca pacity of the Christian education facilities of the church by 70 per cent. Two large assembly rooms have been added, as well as additional class room space, new offices and a new heating plant. To Place Staled Box Dedication services will in clude placing in the corner stone of the new structure a sealed box, to be opened in the year 2000. It will contain, names of all present church and church school members, samples of the church publications and letters from the present church school departments to the members of similar departments in the year 2000. The box will be sealed in the corner stone by members of the building committee, George C. Flanagan, Kenneth G. Denman and Chester Wendt. Prominent Participant! Three prominent state and na tional Presbyterian officials will participate in the dedication cere mony: Dr. Harrison Ray Ander- Bishop Dagwell Sunday Speaker The Rt. Rev. Benjamin D. Dagwell, bishop of Oregon, will administer the rite of confirma tion of the laying on of hands, at St. Mark's church at 11- a.m. on Sunday. A class of approximately 27 adults, which has been prepar ing for the past three months, will be presented to the bishop by the Rev. George Bolster, rec tor of St. Mark's. Appropriate music will be pro vided by St. Mark's choir under direction of Mrs. Roberta Ward Bebb. The bishop will be the preacher. . Following the service the new confirmees will be guests of the parish at a coffee hour in the parish house, arranged by St. Mark's Altar guild. On that date Driskill will ad dress a dinner meeting of all leaders and workers of the church. The campaign will cli max on Easter Sunday morning when, at least 192 people will take membership with the church, officials of the church said. Driskill has led in many cam paigns. He has just finished a program at Portland and . will go from there to Seattle to con duct a similar campaign. Before he came west he conducted one in Tulsa, Okla., with 864 addi tions in one day. Son Coming Joining with him locally will be his son, John, who will assist the ynung people in their cam paign. Mr. Ed Eldridge from Northwest Christian college, Eu gene, will assist in adult visita tion. The visitation program will begin Sunday, April 6, and will continue through the week. On Easter Sunday there will be two worship services. One will begin at 8:30 a.m. and dose at 9:45 a.m., and the second will start at 11 a.m. The Bible school hour will be from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. The day will close with Easter music by the. choir.
