Mr. Arnett, regarded .as one of the outstanding young laymen of the state, is the Oregon con ference president of the Young People's Missionary society. Travels Much As a conference youth leader, Mr. Arnett travels throughout the state on week-ends and after business hours in the interest of of the church and its young people. He will arrive in Medford with his wife and family on Saturday to consult with the Free Metho dist pastor, the Rev. Robert J. Cox, concerning the state youth convention to be held in Medford March 20-23. Adventist Youth Groups To Meet Young People's societies of Missionary volunteers from Ash land, Valley. FREEST $1.00 Per Week JJ. mail trjbuhb Methodists Will Present Wallace Chime Ringers The Wallace Chime Ringers will present a program of sa cred music, familiar Gospel hymns, at the First Methodist church, Sunday at 7:30 p. m. This team is noted for its beau tiful percussion music, church officials said. Over a ton of equipment will be used. The large triple octave chimes are one of the few sets in exist ence today. One hundred chimes played by two people give the effect of a large organ and bells. The Swiss Hand Bells were im ported from Europe recently. These musicians have played in more than two thousand cities programs in colleges, high schools and churches during the past six years. Scriptural Background Mrs. Wallace, well known for her vibra harp arrangements will play four of the large in struments. Mr. Wallace, in ad dition to his playing, will bring poetic and scriptural background for the program. Laura Hamil ton of the Sherwood conserva tory -of music in Chicago will play on all instruments. The Rev. Meredith Groves will speak on: "We Ought To Help One Another." At the 11 a. m. service Mr. Groves will speak on: "Prepare the Way of the Lord.'' Special music includes an anthem by Chancel choir, "The Lord Is My Shepherd," and a song by the Cherub choir, "For the Beauty of the Earth." - Foley Will Conclude Central Point Talks Central Point The special services at the Community Bible church, Central Point, under ministry of the Rev, William J. Demand for his ministry has taken him to all parts of the United States and to several foreign countries. He recently toured the British Isles. Mr. Sparks has held city-wide evangelistic campaigns in large cities. Mr. and Mrs. John Eby will lead singing. The public is in vited.
