IMS Longest Flight Made By Mercy Flight Plane : Mercy nights Pilot Cecil Da vis brought the Stinson plane operated by the non-profit air ambulance service back to Med iord at about 9 p.m. yesterday, after the longest flight ever made by one of the service's air craft The flight was to Truth or Consequences, N. M., to bring a convalescent patient to Medford. The patient was the 47th carried by the unique organization. - Davis reported he was gone for 39 hours, and flew 2,800 miles on the trip. He encounter ed adverse winds in both direc tions, he said, but maintained a ground-speed average of 126 miles per hour.
