Duane Thompson were mar ried June 10, the rites being sol emnized at Sacred Heart Cath olic rectory by the Rev. C. J. Linehan. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton B. Reynolds, Cedar Rapidi, la., and the bride groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. O. D. Thompson, 611 South Riv erside avenue. The bride wore a gold colored suit with red rosebud corsage for the ceremony. She was attended . by Miss Jacquelyn Johnston, who wore a navy blue dress with corsage of white carna tions. M. W. Willoughby was beat man for Mr. Thompson. The newlyweds are living In Medford. Individual Type Determines Sleep Says Psychologist Are you an endormorph, a mesomorph or an ectomorph? If you can classify yourself ac cording to one or inese types, your individual sleep require ments can be foretold. At least, that's what Dr. W. H. Sheldon, Columbia university, discov ered from his studies In consti tutional psychology. Dr. Sheldon maintains that every human being falls into one of these classifications. Although everyone has some of the charac teristics of all tnree, one is pre dominant. The amount of sleep you need depends to a large ex tent on your temperament which is closely related to physical traits. For eample, If you are an en domnrph, you have a soft and comfortable roundness of phy sique you love food company and luxury you relax easily, and sleep soundly, provided your bed Is comfortable. In fact, you love to sleep and consequently talk even yourself into the fact that you need more sleep than you really do. If you hnvc the hard, muscu lar type of physique, you're a mesomorph. Your skin develops wrinkles at an early age and you tan easily. You are full of energy and love exercise. You prefer large homes, large rooms and large beds. You snore vig orously, arise early feeling won derful. The ectomorph has a linear physique and slender bones. If you can be classified as such, you are probably shy, Intense and nervous. You are highly sen sitive and much more vulnerable to outside influences than your endomorph or mesomorph broth er. You use up much nervous energy and consequently tire easily. You put off going to bed at night, and resist getting up in the morning. You sleep lightly and you require more sleep than the other two types. (U.R Nubby. plain colored fabrics are becoming more and more popular in home decorating, and men may be re- sponsiDie. "Men like textured fabrics.' said Mrs. Emily Hunter, stylist for the F. Schumacher Fabric company. "More men come along with their wives when it'i time to pick out a new covering for the living room sofa. They either pick vibrant colors, or choose a room in monotone shades. In either case, they like textured fabrics." She also thinks men are less likely to end up with a room (hat looks like a hodgepodge of dec orating fashions. They stick with one or two colors. She planned some room schemes on the basis of male tastes. One was a room for the man who preferred monotone shading. Miss Fidelia Boone Installed Queen Job's Daughters Medford bethel, Job's Daugh ters, held the semi-annual Instal lation of officers Wednesday night, with Miss Fidelia Boone replacing Miss Kaye Crawford as queen. Miss Boone Is a daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank D. Boone. Miss Crawford acted as in stalling officer and assisting her were Miss Glenda Fields, instal ling guide; Miss Sybill Older, marshal; Miss Patsy Faber, Cen tral Point, musician; Miss Jane Durno, senior custodian; Miss Barbara Green, junior custodi an; Miss Jean Runtz, secretary; Miss Marilyn Winetrout, chap lain. Members of DeMolay took charge of the crowning ceremo- nv for the new queen. The cere mony was conducted by Jim Ward, master counselor, assist ed by Jim Pond, Bob Walker, Keith Bates and Dick Whitlock, with an escort guard composed of Bob Schei, captain; Harold Vrooman, Bob Fisher, Mickey Loris, Dick Loros, Charles Dean, Douglas Harsh and Don Stuart. A number of visitors and oth ers were honored during the eve ning. They included Mrs. C. D. Elhart, Ashland, past grand guardian; Mrs. Karl Rose, guardian of the Ashland bethel; Mrs. A. Z. Dean, past guardian of the Medford bethel; Mr. Dean, DeMolay adviser; Mrs. L. G. Frink, queen of the Roxy Ann court, Order of the Amaranth; Mrs. Ina Huson and Mrs. Fred Purdin, worthy matrons of Ada rcl and Reames chapters, OES; Wallace Brill, master of Med ford Masonic lodge; Miss Jean Hamilton and Miss Laural Jew- ett, past queen and incoming queen of the Central Point beth el; Miss Chloe Stevens, Ashland bethel queen; Miss Kay Dudley and Miss Barbara Bugbee, prin cesses of the Ashland bethel; Misses Glenda Fields and Billie Older, past queens of the Med ford bethel. Following the installation Miss Boone introduced her par ents and grandparents, the lat ter being Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Blackburn of Corvallis, and was presented with red carnations from her father. The retiring queen was pre sented a gift from the bethel. Two addenda followed the in stallation, which was attended by more than 250 persons. Offi cers who have served with Miss Crawford presented her a flor al crown and her past queen's pin and the new queen was hon ored during the second adden dum, carried out on a comic note. Refreshments and a dance fol lowed. For the refreshment ta ble the places were marked with little gold paper crowns bear ing the queen's name. shades rust, greens and browns. A documentary print in a pheasant design, green against a natural background, was used for the draperies. The couch was covered in moss green textured cotton. A cotton stripe in soft shades of salmon, rust, gray, beige and green was used for the extra chairs. For the walls, If the room was to be a study or a den, she sug gested one of the wallpapers that resembles wood paneling. For the man who favors vi brant colors, Mrs. Hunter picked a green background splatter dash wallpaper with tiny dots of gold and black. A dull gold cot ton shag rug was used on the floor. The couch was covered with a heavy textured cotton and rayon fabric in dark green, highlighted with gold metallic threads. A few accessories in the room, including extra pillows and an upholstered desk chair, were done in bright red. Open House Scheduled Today at Vets' Center; Service Groups Help The veterans' domiciliary cen ter at Camp White today will in augurate an open house policy to be observed every Sunday from 1:30 p. m. until 4 p. m. Members will act as guides to show visitors through the vari ous points of interest at the cen ter, such as the library, chapel, arts and crafts shop and the rec reation center. Members of different service organizations will furnish per sonnel to man an Information desk in the main lobby. The Medford DAV aulllary will con duct the desk today. SOC Honor Roll Won By 8 Local Students Ashland, June 24 Eight Med ford students were named to trje spring term honor roll at South ern Oregon college, it was an nounced here Saturday. They in clude R. Ward Bebb, Geraldine Blsh, James J. Boyle, Ann Dress ier, Beulah Jensen, Richard G. Lovell, Marilyn Winetrout and Virgil Wolf. Only one student, Barton La Fon, Ashland, made a perfect "4.00" average. To attain honor roll standing a student must earn grades of 3.5 or better. Other valley stud ents named included Wesley E.
