Darling, 73, who died here Wednesday, was born in Decatur, Neb., on Mar. 4, 1875, and came to Oreson with his parents in 1888. He was married in Gold Hill in December, 1900, to Lulu J. Noe. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Gladys Brewer, Fort Klam ath, and two grandchildren, Lyle and Darla Brewer. Mr. Darling had lived in Fort Klam ath since 1919 when he moved from Gold Hill.
