Motor Burnt Out A fire truck was dispatched to the E. H. Classen residence, 322 South Central avenue, about 11 a.m. yesterday when a refrigerator motor burned out. Car Damaged The front end of a coupe driven by Pearl May Moulton, 129 Kenwood avenue, was badly damaged last night in a collision at the Main and Sixth street intersection, according to a city police report. Police said that the coupe was involved In a collision with a sedan operated by Earl C. Hopkins, 724 Victory street. . Nurse To Organise Practical nurses of Jackson county met Monday night at the Community hospital to lay plans for a formal organization. Practical nurses are to be licensed in Oregon after July 1 and the nurses here be lieve an organization of their profession will help them meet requirements that are to be set up. Practical nurses working in Jackson county will be notified of the next meeting date. To Install Foundation Esther Mockleby asked the city building inspector's office this morning for a permit to construct a $1,000 foundation for a resident at 519 West 11th street. Wall Street CLARENCE MOSHER Clarence Henry Mosher. a resi dent of Central Point for the past 15 years, passed away there Tuesday. Mr. Mosher was born at roncuilac, Wis., on Oct. 8, 1865. and was aged 84 vears. During World War II he ser ved as city marshal of Central Point and during his younger years ne was engaged in police work. He is survived by his wife, Mary. Central Point; two sons, Leo. Central Point, and Jack, O'Brien, Cal.: one daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Soop. Sanborn, la., and four grandchildren-. Robert Mosher, Sacramento, Cal., and Daisy, Virginia and Florence Soop, Sanborn, la. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Perl funeral home and will be announced later. GEORGE PILGRIM Remains of George Edward Pilgrim who was killed in a log ging operation near Butte Falls Monday, were forwarded to his home in Leavenworth, Wash., Tuesday for services and inter ment there. Arrangements here were in care of Conger-Morris funeral home. Mr. Pilgrim was born in Grin ncll, la., June 18, 1928, and had lived at Butte Falls for two years. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Egbert S. Pilgrim, Leavenworth, and a sister, Mrs. Roy C. Price, Butte Falls. MILTON SMITH Services for Milton Isaac Smith, 72, who passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, will be held in Conger-Morris Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Meredith Groves officiating. Committal services will be in Yreka Friday afternoon. A com plete obituary will be published later. Gray Ladies Visit Camp White Tuesday Camp White, May 17 Grey ladies of the Red Cross held a meeting of the Bamboo club and visited the infirmary ward and Company A, Tuesday afternoon. In addition they served in the Red Cross office, writing letters and attending to other duties. The group included Mrs. Rease Braley, Mrs. J. P. Naumes, Mrs. Ralph G. Bardwell, Mrs. A. E. Littrell.. Mrs. Roy Stanley and Mrs. Jim Town, all Medford. A Red Cross tour saw some of the men driven to the scenic points around the Butte Falls country the same afternoon. Wednesday, May 17, 1950 Prospect Slates Baccalaureate Services Sunday Prospect, May 16 Baccalau reate services for the Prospect high school graduating class will be held Sunday evening in the Prospect Church of the Naza rene. The Rev. Robert Gwinn will speak on "The Purpose of Life." The high school girls' chorus will sing two numbers, "Praise to the Lord" and "Stranger of Galilee," accompanied by Helen Robertson. Commencement exercises will be held in the Prospect gymna sium Friday, May 26, at 8 p.m., with Dr. Loren E. Messenger, as sociate professor of psychology at Southern Oregon college, as speaker. The topic of his talk will be "Pioneers." Program Listed The commencement program will include: Processional and re cessional, played- by Mrs. Jake Jones; invocation and benedic tion by the Rev.
