Then the officer turned and jay-walked back across the street. Senior Visitation Week-End Slated April 14 at SOC Ashland, Apr. II Senior vis itation week-end at Southern Oregon college will be April 14 and 15, when approximately 150 high school seniors are expected . to visit the campus. i Visiting seniors will register : in Churchill hall on the campus : from 7 'to 9 p. m., Friday, and there will be an informal gath ering at Susanne Homes hall and a dance from 10 to 12. Visit ing ceniors will be admitted free to the Chez Paree dance sponsored by the Theater guild. Saturday's program will con sist of breakfast in Susanne Homes hall and a discussion of vocational fields by SOC students and faculty. Individual confer ences with the students will be arranged. A tour of the campus and the Lincoln Laboratory school will be followed by a barbecue luncheon at 12:30 p. m. Reception Set In the afternoon dramatic pro ductions in the auditorium and athletic exhibitions will be the entertainment. There will also be a reception at President Elmo Stevenson's home. Housing for visiting seniors will be provided at Susanne Homes hall and the men's dormi tory. Any high school senior in terested in attending can obtain information from his high school principal or by writing to South ern Oregon college. College Head To Speak For Roosevelt Group Dr. Elmo N. Stevenson, pres ident of Southern Oregon col lege, will be guest speaker for the meeting of Roosevelt Parent Teacher association set for Fri day, April 14 at 2:30 p.m. "Understanding Your Child' will be Dr. Stevenson's topic. Officers for next year are to be elected with the nominating committee, consisting of Mrs Jack Walker, Mrs. Richard Phair and Miss Elizabeth Rice report ing. Mothers of pupils in the first grade will be hostesses. All parents are cordially in vited to attend.
