Large Field
Golf Tourney
Augusta, Ga., Apr. 6 (U.B
The largest field in the history
of the 16-year-old event went to
tee today In the classy Masters'
tournament with the profession

of their celebrated feuds.
There were 13 unruffled ama
teurs among the field of 65 men
and veteran observers and writ
ers said this might be the year
for an amateur to take the cov
eted title for the first time.
The pressure is all on the pros
who want to run their tourna
ments themselves and reach a
separatfbn agreement with the
parent Professional Golfers' as
sociation. Their political trou
bles have not contributed to the
sharpening of their game.
On the other hand, the smart
money boys who collect here in
force every April have a hot
hunch they believe that Law
son Little, 38-year-old veteran
and a member of the rebel group,
can slip in and pick up the
marbles.

FIRST thing you notice, of course,
i the bother end effort Dyna
flow Drive saves.
Next, that Dynaflow eaves you
physically after long tripi you're
less tense and tired, more relaxed.
But then, as the miles pile up and
this comes from cold, recorded fact
after Dynaflow's two years of pub
lie operation you spot savings you
hadn't expected . a
You save on tires because power
application is steady, even. On
clutch expense the usual friction
clutch is gone.
You save on transmission mainte
nance, and the rear-axle expenses
likely to go with it. And the way
your engine is oil-cushioned against
normal shocks and strains shows
up in less engine upkeep.

You may well discover another
pleasant surprise, too.
We are getting a steadily mounting
number of well-satisfied letters
about gasoline mileage with Dyna
flow cars.
The Special has shown some rec
ords little short of phenomenal. The
SUPER is delivering mileage that
compares most favorably with gear
shift cars. And the ROADMA91ER
more than holds its own with cars
of its size and bulk.
In short, there's a lot more to
please your budget in the 1950
i Dynaflow than its new lower price.
Refinements over the past two
years result in savings that are siz
able over the life of the car.
Knowing that, don't you want us to
demonstrate the big side of Dyna
flow the utter smoothness of
America's first oil-does-it'-all drive?
