Lightning Kills Man In Vancouver, Wash. Vancouver, Wash., March 23 (U.R) The sheriff's office said to day a bolt of lightning killed George Oldham, 70, Ridgefield. Wash., during yesterday's hail and lightning storm. Adolph Anderson, 57, also of Ridgefield, said he and Oldham were pruning filbert trees at the Kenneth Hall estate, one mile northeast of Ridgefield, when the storm struck. They took shelter under a fir tree which was hit by the lightning. Anderson was unconscious for more than an hour.
