Mrs. Kim ball is a former resident. The visitors, who made the trip by plane, will leave Wednesday. Return Dr. and Mrs. Robert E. Lee, accompanied by Mrs. Ella Leonard of Ashland, have returned from Alturas, Cal., where they were called by the death of Mrs. Inez Woody. Mrs. Woody was a sister of Dr. Lee and niece of Mrs. Leonard. She had been well known here from her many visits in the valley. . Graduated William Wright, Phoenix, was recently graduat ed from the aviation electronics man school at the naval air tech nical training center in Mem phis, Tenn. Wright, an airman in the navy, entered the service in July, 1944. ... President Margaret Sarnh Wagner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert A. Wagner, Ashland, has been elected president of Roblee hall at Stephens college. Columbia, Mo., where she is a member of Beta Sigma Beta. As president, she holds one of the highest student offices at the college and will also serve on the student legislature. . In Europe And Africa Mar vin G. Read, electrician's mate, of 1320 Beatty street, and Jim mie M. Williams, fireman, of 207 Church street, in Phoenix, vis ited two continents during Feb ruary while serving aboard the destroyer tender USS Sierra. The Sierra, which is attached to the sixth fleet, recently partici pater in vast maneuvers in the Mediterranean and all hands were given liberty in Sicily, North Africa and Athens, Greece. Chorus To Meet The Med ford Male chorus will meet Mon day at 8 p.m. in the music room of the high school for practice with Miss Lorraine Veidt direct ing. All members of the chorus are urged to attend the practice session and anyone interested is also Invited to attend each Mon day evening. Girl Scout News Swim Party Mrs. Martin Ugstad's troop of seventh grade Girl scouts from Grants Pass enjoyed a swimming party at the Medford Y on Wed nesday and were entertained by the seventh grade Medford troops of Mrs. W.
