KYJC To Broadcast Methodist Service The Sunday morning service from the First Methodist church will be broadcast from 11 a.m. to 12 noon over KYJC, when Rev. Meredith A. Groves, pastor will speak on the topic, "The Greatest Thing in the World" in a series on "Our Faith in Love.' Special music will include an anthem by the choir, "Bless The Lord," and a solo, "The Lord's Prayer" by Carlton Neill, boy soprano. Male quartet from the Southern Oregon college, Robert Rae, Fred Beuhner, Jerry Leslie and Harry Kannasto will sing and organ selections by Mrs. Charles Adamson will include: "In The Old Cathedral," "Ada gio Lamentoso" and "Triumphal March".' At the 7:30 p.m. service the Rev. Mr. Groves will speak on "What One Man Did," Special music will include a selection by junior high choir, "God Who Touchest Earth With Beauty," and a vocal solo by Suzanne Schoppert, "All Things Bright and Beautiful." Evangelism Services At Church Of Christ Evangelistic services being held nightly except Mondays and Saturdays at the Church of Christ, Medford, are gaining in terest daily, the Rev. Donald H. Byers, pastor, said today. He described the services as being different and said those attend ing are benefitted. i The evangelistic services arc being conducted by G. Fred Hoy with gospel singing led by the pastor and song evangelist. Tonight the sermon topic will be "The 'I Think' Religion," and ! the service will also include col- ored pictures of Eskimos at 7:15 p.m., the Rev. Mr. Byers said. "God Is Rich" will be the Sun-1 day morning service topic and , in the evening it will be "Christ . Is Coming Again." ! Other services next week will have as sermon topics "Bound to ; the Alter" on Tuesday. "A Uni- j que Bride" on Wednesday. "Who Is the Devil" on Thursday and "How to Overcome the Devil'' on Saturday. I Brotherhood Week Observance Slated Camp White Center Camp White, Feb. 17 The week of Washington's birthday, February 19 to 26, will be ob served at the domiciliary center as a time for active promotion of "justice, amity, understanding and cooperation among Protest ants, Catholics and Jews." In keeping with the spirit and purpose of Brotherhood week, the following activities are planned at the domiciliary center at Camp White: Sunday, appropriate emphasis will be made at morning chapel religious services. Feature motion picture. "Prej udice," will be shown at the the ater, 6:30 p. m. , Wednesday, Washington's birthday, "Brotherhood Day" program at 10 a. m. in the the ater. Appropriate patriotic mu sic will be presented by pupils from the Eagle Point high school band and 30.-voice choir. Brief addresses will be given by chaplains as follows: "The Harmony of the Colors," by Father John Cummisky, and "Salute to the Colors," by Chap lain Henry W. Anderson. A color guard will present the United States flag in fitting ceremonies. Attendance by all members, personnel and their families is expected as an observance of Brotherhood week at Camp White. Prophecies Of Bible Told At Local Church World events and their mean ing as foretold in Bible Proph ecy is the theme of the special services being held Sunday. Wed nesday and Friday evenings in the Adventist church. According to an announcement by Pastor O. E. Schncpper, the subject for thi. coming Sunday evening is, "The World's Com ing Climax." Out of the features of these meetings is the color pictures shown throughout the lecture. Music by the orchestra and a vibra-haro will bs given during the song service. These service start promptly at 7:30 p.m. An invitation is extended to the p.ib lic. Prophetic Sermon Due Sunday Evening, 7:30, At Foursquare Church A prophetic sermon, "The World's Saturday Night" will be delivered at the Foursquare church Sunday at 7:30 p.m. by the pastor, the Rev. Hairy J. Hansen. Thus message is timely, and up to the minute in the light of Bible prophecy, he said. The minister will discuss pres ent day happenings and will tell his audience whether or not the Bible mentions the atomic and hydrogen bombs. A special musical program will be an added feature. Kiwanis Kapers Sets Preview On Sunday The Kiwanis Kapers and Min strel show of 1950 will play for the first time publicly at a mati nee preview for boys and girls of the valley at Ashland junior high gymnasium at 3 p.m. Sun day. Medford and Ashland Kiwan ians are presenting the show as a major project to raise funds for boys' and girls' work. Sun day prices will be reduced for youngsters but adults accom panying them will pay full ad mission. The show will play at Ash land on Wednesday and Thurs day nights and at Medford sen ior high auditorium on Friday and Saturday. High School Boys Sing AT I00F Meet A group of hoys from Medford senior high school entertained with vocal numbers at the meet ing of Medford Lodge No. 83, IOOF, Tuesday night at the lodge hall. The boys taking part were Jim Bryant, Charles Ashpole. Nor man Love, Douglas Philips. Roger McUne, Jim Grimm and D. C. Mills. They were accom panied by their music teacher, Miss Lorraine Veidt. He succeeds Walter Kasworm, owner of Shangri-la. New vice-president is a Mr. Houston of Grants Pass and Lee J. York, also of Grants Pass, is treasurer.
