in the Oak Grove school with
proceeds going toward buying
trophies.
The first game at 6:30 will
send the Oak Grove sixth grad
ers against the West Side sixth
grade quintet, followed at 7:30
by the seventh graders playing
the Griffin Creek seventh grade
team and at 8:30 when the re
spective eighth grade quintets
are slated for a game.

New Snow Reported At
Crater Lake Park
There are three inches of new
powder snow on top of a total
snow pack of 114 inches at
Crater Lake National park, it
was learned here today. Radio
reports said the total season's
snowfall to date is 251 inches.
The maximum temperature at
the park in the past 24 hours was
nine degrees and the minimum
was four degrees. At 10:30 a.m.
today the sky was overcast and
it was snowing lightly.
. Both the south and west en
trance roads to the park are
open but chains are required, it
was reported. The rim road is
closed.
