According to the proposal,
membership In the Institution
would be $100 for a five-year
period and could be renewed.
Members, made up of e v e r y
manufacturer and supplier of
raw, manufactured and partially
manufactured material In the
state would be able to buy ex
hibition space at 23 cents per
cubic foot per year, and would
be eligible to one vote In elec
tion of officers for the general
management.
Backing would be by the leg
islature with t.ecessary money to
build and ' promote the display
being subscribed by the public.
All exhibitors would have their
exhibits passed upon by a spec
ial committee and every manu
facturer would have the privil
ege of maklna demonstration 'if
his wares within the demonstra
tion room, rental to be fixed by
the board of directors who would
determine If the demonstration
was of sufficient character to
be of Interest to the public. Na
tional advertising would be car
rled on through varlrus cham
ben of commerce committees
who have been living upstairs

a two days visit with his parents,

ly returned here from Sacra

lived for about three years, have

will take possession March 1.
