Miller Discharged Elton Mil ler, who served in both the European and Pacific theaters during the last war, has returned to Medford and is making his home at 1028 Reddy avenue. Miller, a fourth-grade technician, was overseas a year, serving first with the Ninth Army in Europe and then with the Eighth army in the Pacific. He was last on duty in Tokyo. Visit Here Mr. and Mrs. W. V. Daniels visited in Medford over the week-end as guests of their son, the Rev. Delbert W. Daniels, and family, 320 South Holly street. Mr. and Mrs. Daniels have been vacationing in y southern California and were en route to their home in The Dalls, where Mr. Daniels Is man ager of the local J. C. Penney store. Daley Home Charles W. Daley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Crafts, 502 South Fir street, re turned home Feb. 14 after re ceiving his honorable discharge from the army at Ft. Lewis the previous day. Daley, a staff sergeant, served 40 months in the army, the last 18 months be ing spent overseas in the Euro pean theater with the quarter master corps. Here From East Mr. and Mrs Robert R. 1 Vroman arrived in Medford Saturday from New York and are at. thr. hnmp nf his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Vro man, 525 South Ivy street. Vro man, who spent some time in the city in December before return ing to New York to accompany his wife on the trip west, was honorably discharged from the army air force in December. A staff sergeant, he .spent 46 months with the army, including 26 months with the public rela tions department in England, where he served as a reporter and artist for "Stars and Stripes," army newspaper. Cars Damaged Slight dam age was caused Sunday night to a pickup truck operated by Glenn Unger, 312 Haven street, and a car operated by Elmer A. Inman, 116 North Central ave nue, when they collided at the intersection of Sixth and North Riverside avenue, according to an accident report filed with city police. Returns Mrs. Daisy May Reiter, who arrived in Medford recently to attend the funeral of her cousin, Milo Conley, left last evening to return to her home in Corvallis. Mrs. Reiter has been a week-end guest at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Irvin C. Daley, 343 North Grape street, and her great-nephew, Henry Lucier at Talent. a a a Coghill Returns Former sea man first class with the navy, Edgar L. Coghill returned home February 11 following an hon orable discharge from the serv ice at Bremerton, Wash. Coghill, who is residing with his wife and family at their home on route 4, box 389B, spent five months, of 19 months in the navy, aboard a tanker in the Asiatic-Pacific theater. His mother, Mrs. Leon ard Coghill, resides on route 1.
