Don Faber Not To Return To Work At Portland College Central Point, Jan. 22 Don ald E. Fabr, who for tha past two years has been on leave of absence from his post as athletic director at Lewis and Clark col lege of Portland, has rejected the terms offered by the school for his return next September and will remain in the grocery and feed business here with his brother Everett. Faber was placed on leave when the war brought on condi tions that did not warrant a full time Job for him at the institup tion. Medford Athletic Associa tion's basketball committee has decided to turn the team ever to Medford's independent Mobllgas dealers for sponsor ship. Reason for the switch In sponsors was given as follows; Several county teams which were not organized in time to get into the Southern Oregon in dependent league have expressed a desire to have a league. The MAA committee decided to turn their team over to Mobilgas and devote their time to sponsorship of another league and to seeing that the current one functions smoothly.
