When the Junior heavyweight division, taking in matmen from 180 to 200 pounds, was first de clared, Belcastro won a tourna ment to find its first Pacific coast champion. He successfully defended his diadem in several big coast wrestling centers, such as Hollywood, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Portland, and had it on the block several times here and at Klamath Falls be fore losing it. In meeting young Lynam here tomorrow night, the 32-year-old Belcastro will undoubtedly look ba :k a few years at the time when he was introduced as the champion. Since he is still rank ed as one of the top Junior j heavies on the coast, Belcastro j can force Lynam into a title I match by giving the ex-GI a convincing beating. ! Holding the spotlight on the ; star-studded card is the return 1 of baby-faced Joe Smollnskl, ; who tangles with Jack (Buck) Lipscomb in the four round mid dle bout.
