Major Forward is now stationed at Camp Beale, Calif. Zahnow Discharged T5 Theodore Zahnow returned yes terday to the home of his par ents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Zah now, route 4, box 179A, from Ft. Lewis, Wash., following an honorable discharge from the army. Zahnow arrived in Seat tle directly from Yokahoma, Japan, after two years over seas service with the 158th in fantry regiment. He was award ed the purple heart for wounds received in action in the Philip pines ,the combat infantryman's badge, Asiatic-Pacific ribbon with three bronze battle stars and an arrowhead, Philippine liberation ribbon with one bronze battle star, victory medal and the good conduct medal.
