San Francisco's rainy spell broke long enough yesterday to allow the Easterners their first outdoor workout in three days. They took full advantage of it. With Merrill Frost, Dart mouth, Bob Evans, University of Pennsylvania, and Roger Robins, Syracuse, doing plenty of pass ing, the lads from the other side of the Rockies topped off a thrpe and one-half hour workout with an hour of scrimmage. East Line Coach Beattie Feathers put his All-star collec tion of linemen through stiff blocking and tackling drills. The west camp concentrated on punting and signal drills, the latter from both the T and single-wing formations. Bob Goode, Texas A. and M. freshman, and Jack Leicht, Ore gon, impressed observers with ! their punting. 26 FOOTBALLERS RECEIVE LETTERS AT Twenty six members of the 1945 Medford high school foot ball team, southern Oregon con ference and district two cham pions, were awarded football letters at a general assembly held at the high school last week.
