Lynch has spent the past three and one-half years as an engin eer with ihe service, most of the time serv'ng in tha South Pa cific and the Far East. Rector To Speak The Rev George Smith, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal church, Salem, will speak at a meeting of men of St. Mark's Episcopal church Monday at 8 p. m. at the parish house, S. P. Discharged Lowell A. Bish son of Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Bish, route 4, returned home last week after two and one-half years with the army, during which time he was awarded the purple heart, Asiatic-Pacific ribbon with two bronze battle stars, Philip pine liberation ribbon and the good conduct medal. Bish, who held the rank of private, first class, received an honorable Jis charge from the army recently. He spent 19 months with an in fantry division in the South Pa cific. Lewis, 638 Pine street, build an addition to a residence at a cost of $1,0C0. Auto Mishaps Slight dam age was caused cars operated by J. H. McKenzie, 608 Cath erine street, and Andy Depraff. Jacksonville, Thursday when they collided on East Main street, according to an accident report filed with city police. Also damaged late Friday night in an accident at the intersec tion of Jackson street and Riverside avenue were cars operated by Ettie B. Pair, 551 Haven street, and Don W.
