Nov. 21 U.R- Treslrient Truman told his news conference today that the Unit ed States is still manufacturing atomic bombs. He said they are being made for experimental purposes. At the same time the Presl dent said he thought the full membership of the United Na tions organization should have a part in establishing the atom ic energy commission which was proposed here last week by the President and Prime Ministers Attlee of Great Britain and W L. Mackenzie King of Canada. Peace Use Is Hope One of the first things on the program of the United States when United Nations organiza tions sessions begin in London, the President said, will be to ask for the formation of the atomic commission. The President reiterated his hope that the program outlined by the three atomic powers would lead to the employment of atomic energy for peace In stead of war.
