RAIN, FALLING LEAVES '
CAUSE DRAIN PROBLEMS
Rains and falling leaves of the
past 10 days have produced
drainage problems in many sec
tions of the county with back
waters of road ditches, creeks
and irrigation ditches flooding
orchards and roads.
A half dozen orchardists of the
Arnold Lane district conferred
with County Engineer Paul B.
Rynning today relative to the
waters of Daisy Creek and
clogged ditches that overflowed.
It was explained the county
would clear the road ditches as
soon as possible. In some or
chards the irrigation ditches have
become clogged, causing overflows.
