Coat Stolen A fur coat be longing to Josephine Greene, Central Point, was reported ! stolen last night from a chair in i a cafe on the south Pacific high ; way, city police said today. Value of the coat was estimated at ap proximately $90, police said. Visiting in Valley Guests at the Englehardt ranch near Eagle Point this week are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Krause, Burlingame, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Carl Stcder, San Francisco, niece and nephew of Professor C. Engelhardt, and Mrs. Mary Barker, also of San Francisco. Mrs. Barker Is a well known singer. Report Thefts The theft last night of two gray fender pants from a car belonging to Com. D. R. Keller, of Camp White, was reported to city police today. Keller's auto was narked near i a local hotel at the time of the theft. Also reported stolen yes terday from Washington school was a bicycle belonging to Vera Casey, Columbus avenue. Visiting Parents Capt. Rob ert Iven is spending a leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Iven, 1006 West Fourth street, prior to his return to Santa Ana, ! Calif., where he is to receive a I discharge from the army air corps. The officer spent 10 months with the 20th air force stationed in the Marianas before his recent return to the United States. Finch Discharged Douglas B. Finch, chief electrician's mate in the navy before receiving an honorable discharge last week, arrived in the city Sunday and with his wife resides at their home at Ideal Court, Myrtle street. Finch, a former state po liceman and game warden in Medford, entered the navy in 1942 and served about 30 months In both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. Family Leaves MSgt. John P. Burch, with Mrs. Burch and their small son, Jackie, left Tues day for Oak Grove, La., to visit Sgt. Burch's father and other relatives. From there they will go to Santa Ana, Calif., where the sergeant will report for re assignment with the air corps. Sgt. Burch arrived here last week after 21 months overseas service in France and Germany with the 9th air force. While here he visited at the home of his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Shirley, 420 Laurel street, and also with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Greaves of 716 West Thirteenth street.
