Fluhrer is stationed at an army transport command base in Vienna, Austria, and ac cording to present plans will re main there until the base is or ganized when he will be return ed to this country and released from the army, it was stated in a telegram received from him yesterday by his wife. Home From Army William Clark Willits, a former radar man, 2'c, with the anvy, arrived home in Ashland recently after receiving an honorable discharge from the service August 2 at the U. S. naval hospital, Phila delphia. Mr. and Mrs. Willits and two sons are residing now at 129 Almond street in Ashland. His mother is Mrs. Alice Willits. Broedlew Returned Col. R. W. Broedlow, regimental com mander of the 91st division who saw action through the Italian campaign, arrived in the states Aug. 26 with elements of the 361st infantry, according to an announcement from the east coast. He plans to visit his wife, Mrs. Nell Smith Broedlow, in Medford soon. Veteran of 28 years In the army, Broedlow holds the legion of merit, silver star and bronze star medals. Cole Graduated Pvt. Donald J. Cole, 1107 Niantlc street, was J. Cole, 1107 Niatic street, was graduated in a radio operators' class from the armored school, Fort Knox, Ky recn'ly, accord ing to an announ. 1 ent from the school. Members of the. class were trained in signal com munication, and each soldier learned the Morse code and studied radio procedure and radio sets. Final phase was field operation under simulated battle conditions. Aim. 30 (U.R) Japanese Prime Minister Prince Naruhiko Higashi-Kuni today pledged himself to dis solve the lower house of the diet and to hold a general elec tion with full freedom of speech and thought. Higashi-Kuni outlined to the Japanese press a program of re construction and reform, design ed to help Japan cooperate with other nations of the world He promised to give the Japanese people the full facts of their military and naval defeats, ac cording to a Tokyo radio broad cast -heard by United Press in San Francisco. German Propaganda War Found Amusing To Nazi Cartoonist Bremerhaven, Germany U.R) The Germans had a propagan da war of their own and it amused them as the Allies' war fare of the same sort amused the Americans and British. "Der Papierkrieg" the "pa per war" was a cartoon found on the walls of a former Ger man military office here. The cartoon shows a furious battle being waged betveen two front lines which are sup ported by heavy guns, strafing and bombing aircraft, and long trains bringing up new supplies. AH the guns are firing pam phlets and the trains are loaded with more. The air lt filled with the tracts. OBITUARY MRS. PEARL MARTIN Mrs. Pearl Martin passed away at a local hospital early Tuesday evening following a short Illness. Mrs. Martin was born on Oct. 5, 1882. "In every respect, this Is the gasoline we have been waiting for. It will give quick starting, fast warmup and maximum mileage. There is less waste in starting and warming up. Vapor lock tendencies are eliminated "The average driver will par ticularly notice the difference when operating at low speeds, with heavy loads on hills, aud when accelerating."
