Linn's Here Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Linn and daughters are : visiting with friends in the city this week-end from Portland where Mr. Linn, principal of Medford junior high school, is employed during the summer. In Mishap Lowell Dougherty, - Medford, and Maxine Billings, 635 South Central avenue, were injured slightly Friday when the car in which they were pas sengers, driven by Sgt. Andre are making their home in the city at 1005 West Main street, following his recent release from the army air corps. As a 1st lieutenant Andre spent two years in Alaska and has spent a total of seven years in the service, two of which were in Hawaii before the war. He is now employed at Forester jewelers. . . Visiting Humphreys Mr. and Mrs. Charles V. Cooley arrived in Medford Friday from Bakers- field, Calif., and are visiting at the home of Mrs. Cooley's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. G. O. Humphreys, 825 East Jack son street, while en route to their former home at Eugene. Mr. Cooley was just released from the army air service at Bakersfield. ... Receives Award Pfc. Adal bert Neimoyer has been award ed the purple heart medal for wounds received during the bat tle of Okinawa, according to word received here by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Neimoyer, who with their two sons, Johnny and Ronald, resides at 303 Edwards street.
