BETTER SAY HI-YA T I have had something on my mind for a long while. I don't mean bowling I mean some thing about the letters you dear, kind people write me, particular ly the multi- paged- ones. N o w, dad bust it, I may be lust as- hard- boiled as I pretend to be, but some how I can't learn to Dr. Brady handle that problem. In fair ness to all my correspondents I should, of course, divide my time and consideration among them as equitably as I can, at least among those readers who comply with the Instructions regularly printed here. Do I follow this policy? I do not. Trouble with me is I can't take it or let it alone. If a word, a phrase or some little feature about a letter arrests my atten tion at the first glance .before I realize it I'm immersed in the thing and I wade through the entire fourteen pages before I come up for air. In all fairness, I repeat, I should consign such letters to the warehouse, to be dealt with in the sweet by-and-bye, if at all. But no, I have never learned that kind of effic iency. I file 'em here, there and everywhere, Intending to study them more carefully just as soon as I have caught up with the regular everyday correspon dence. But I have reached an impasse now all available drawers, files, baskets and other recep tacles stuffed and running over with letters I had hoped to take up again some day and answer as I would a letter from an old friend. The only solution of the problem appears to be a ruthless housecleaning and begin again the Recorder of the City of Med ford prior to the date of such hearing. By Order ot the council ol the City of Medford. J. K. WUOUFUHU, Recorder. NOTICE OF FINAL ACCOUNT No. 7394 In the County Court of the State of Oregon for the County of Jackson, Probate Department.
