LAMB COMPLICATES COUNT
Gillette, Wyo. U.R The Idea
of counting the legs of a herd of
cattle and dividing by four to
find the number of animals
wouldn't work very well in a
herd of sheep owned by M. J.
Hannum near here. And count
ing tails wouldn't do. either. A
freak Iamb with eight legs and
two tails was born in the herd
recently. The animal did not
live, however.

RAINBOW IN MOONLIGHT
Emblem, Wyo. (U.R) The
song "I'm Beginning to See the
Light" took on a new meaning
for Adam Preis, young Emblem
farmer, recently. Preis saw a
rainbow at night 10:30 a. m , to
be exact. The observer was at
tending a War Bond rally when
he glanced out of a window just
after a shower and saw the rain
bow. Other persons at the rally
cerified the story and explained
that there was an abundance of
bright moonlight at the time the
rainbow was seen.
