Fined George Kerr of Med

in police court on a charge of
reckless driving following a col
lision last night on East Main
street with a parked car owned

five-days suspended Jail sentence
on a charge of being drunk on a

gon League of Democratic Wom

national Democratic Women's
organization.
Plans for the year's program
were discussed with a view to
laying a foundation for assist
ance of the organization in the
1946 campaign. A resolution urg
ing the inclusion of women on
the county executive committee,
in keeping with the intent and
purpose of the Fifty-Fifty law of
equal representation was unan
imously passed by the organiza
tion.

was played by Mrs. Rawles
Moore, music chairman, who led
the meeting in community sing
