LEAGUE LEAD TO BEATING PADRES By United Press The "Pressure Kids" from Portland, best in the west when the chips are down, were back with a four and one-half game lead in the Pacific Coast league race today as the result of an action-filled week-end in which they took three straight from the weak-hitting San Diego Padres. While the runner-up Seattle Rainiers were dropping two out of three to Earl Sheely's Sacra mento Solons, the Beavers knocked over the Pepper Martin crew 4-3 on Saturday and twice Sunday, 5-1 and 4-2. Meanwhile, San Francisco was consolidating its third-place posi tion by taking two out of three from Hollywood, 4-1 on Saturday and splitting Sunday, winning the first, 7-0 and dropping the second 3-4. Los Angeles took the odd game of the week-end from Oak land, copping Saturday, 1-0, dropping the first game Sunday, 3-11, and winning the finale by another 1-0 count.
