GETS HUG, KISS

Kansas City, Mo., June 21.
(U.PJ General of the Army Dwight
D. Eisenhower received a home
coming son's welcome today, a
hug and a kiss from his 83-year-old
mother, Mrs. Ida Stover
Eisenhower.
The general's five starred
plane eased onto the runway of
the municipal airport at 12:16

the TWA building.

stop, motorcars carrying mem

he stepped out, then grinned

"The same old way, son," she
replied as she hugged him to
her bosom and smothered him
with kisses.
To his wife, Mrs. Mamie Eisen
hower, Ike called out:
"Hello, darling. I'm sure glad
to see you again."
The general's wife had come
to Kansas City ahead of him by
