HOW DO YOU WALK?
Charm reports: "To walk well
there is only one rule walk on
cne line and not on two. All
this talk about the ball of the
foot and shoulder carriage is un
necessary, for you could not pos
sibly walk on one line without
having proper carriage. Most
people walk on two lines and this
causes them to wobble from side
to side. By walking on one line
a woman will appear more grace
ful, and if there is any soft
drapery about her costume she
will seem almost to float into a
room. This technique gives to
a man directness and dignity of
movement."

Third and Lt. Gen. Alexander

American zone of Germany, the
army newspaper Stars and

The 15th Army under Lt. Gen.

boundaries of the occupation

Stars and Stripes said.
Thus the Third and Seventh

the territory they conquered in
southwest Germany. The 15th
Army has been operating in the
Ruhr and Rhineland, but these
areas will be turned over to
British and French occupation
armies.
Stars and Stripes said the
American zone would be divided
