'V REGISTRATION FOR ORCHESTRA CLASS TO BE WEDNESDAY The Medford summer band and orchestra school will be con ducted under auspices of the Medford public school system from June 11 to July 13, it was announced today. Sydney H. Bouck, formerly instructor of music at Medford high school, has been secured as instructor. Daily classes from Monday through Friday of each week will be held in the Medford Junior nigh school gymnasium Classes will be divided into groups ranging from a senior band to a beginner band or or chestra group, according to the announcement. The band and orchestra school will meet each evening at 6:30 for younger students, lasting 45 minutes, aijd 'closing at 9:30 for the older students. The larger group will meet for one hour. Tuition Refunded A tuition fee of $5 will be charged, with all or part of the fee to be refunded on the basis of attendance and recommenda tion of the band leader, it was stated. Registration for the summer band and orchestra school will be held June 6 at the junior nigh school gymnasium, from 2 to 6 p. m. A person will be in charge who will be able to answer questions on any phase of the school, the announcement said. Any student who has been playing an instrument owned by the Medford school district may have it re-issued to him by seis ing Bouck at the junior high school on registration day. Concerts Planned Arrangements are being made for the senior band of the sum mer school to present one con cert each week of the five weeks term, Bouck said. Students who find it difficult to be in Medford for the full five weeks course but can be in town for three or four weeks at that time are asked to see Bouck on day of registration. Sixteen classes will be held daily including studies in the Bible, missions, temperance, handcraft and recre ation.
