'Regional Dlreclof Red Cross Corps To Visit County Miss Jane Mulcahy, acting re gional director of Red Cross- Home Service corps for Oregon, will visit the Jackson county chapter, May 21 and 22. Mrs. Harry Holmes, chairman of Home Service, will be hostess Monday at a luncheon meeting for Miss Mulcahy at the Medford Hotel. Attending will be Red Cross officials, staff and corps chairman of Home Service. On Tuesday, Miss Mulcahy will in terview applicants for the Home Service corps in the Home Serv ice aide's room at the chapter office from 1 to 2 p. m. From 2 to 4 n. m.. Miss Mulcahv will be guest speaker at a meeting of the Home Service committee and corps members. "Despite the decrease in the number of servicemen at Camp White, the demands of the Home Service department in Jackson County have not decreased ap preciatively," according to Miss Lillian Roberts, Home Service secretary. "Family problems of the servicemen are augmented by their continued absence over seas, inquiry service, welfare re ports, problems of the returning veteran and council for the fam ily of a deceased veteran will keep the Home Service depart ment busy for some time to come."
