Scout Troop 4 enjoyed their
first camping trip of the season
when they went to Sqauw Lake
Friday noon, returning Sunday
night. They were accompanied
by Scoutmaster Dr. G. K. Good

Ralph Ettel. About 20 Scouts
made the trip and reported fish
ing results excellent.

held a swimming party at Jack

Leslie Willard Moody, 21-year-
old transient who has been em
ployed as a dishwasher in a local
restaurant for the past few days.
Is being held In jail at Grants
Pass awaiting removal to the
Jackson county jail on an uto
theft charge, state police said
today.
Moody reportedly went to the
Automobile Market, Sixth and
Bartlett streets, last night and
asked to try out a 1936 Lafay
ette coach which was being ot-
fered for sale. According to
police, the proprietor of the car
lot reported the car had not
been returned at 6:10 last night.
Moody was arrested at Grants
Pass on a - reckless driving
charge later in the evening and
told police he had driven the car
to Grants Pass and was attempt
ing to sell it, local officers said.
