J TAKEN BY ALLIES Rome, April 28 (U.R) Rac ing Allied armies seized Brescia and Bergamo, on the fringes of the Swiss Alps, and liberated the major port of Genoa today as dispatches from Switzerland re ported that other U. S. troops had bisected north Italy by reaching the frontier town of Como. A special Allied task force ended all organized resistance in Genoa an official communique announced, and took 6,000 Ger man prisoners. An additional 300 Germans taken captive by Bra zilians at Collecchio, six miles southwest of Parma, brought the toll of prisoners taken in the whilwlnd offensive that was rapidly tearing apart the re maining Germany army, toward 80,000. (The Swiss radio, heard in London, said Italian partisans had concluded an agreement with the commander of German troops under which the Germans would stop fighting in Piedmont, the province along the upper Franco-Italian ' frontier, and In Lombardy, which extends east of Piedmont and along the Swiss frontier. (The Swiss broadcast quoted the Milan newspaper Italia Li bera, or Free Italy, as its source. ' It said that under the agree ment, German units will remain where they are for the present.) REPORT FUEHRER DEAD; VERY SICK London, April 28 U.R) American troops captured Hans Goebbels today and reports from Switzerland said his no torious brother,, Paul Joseph Goebbels, nazi propaganda chief, Adolf Hitler and Hermann Goering. all had been killed. Glider Delivery Of Newspapers Is British Forecast London, (U.R) Soon London morning papers may be deliv ered by glider train to cities throughout the British Isles. This is the opinion of Sir Miles Thomas, vice-chairman of the Nuffield organization, the Brit ish equivalent in size and scope of the Ford Motor Co. National daily papers printed in London must travel the length of Britain, sometimes a distance of 900 miles, and shipment by glider train would greatly speed the: news distribution. The papers would be carried by glider until i they reached their "objective"! and then parachuted to earth in bundles. Sir Miles thinks that a light1 alloy printing device might be carried, the latest news being flashed to the planes by radio, and the "hot" news being print ed in blank spaces on front pages left for that purpose.
