sit around all day in the same

2. Have two pairs of galosh

one at home. (I, Brady, would

You'll have to hire a small

they'll be always there if it

3. Keep an extra pair of

4. If a cold creeps up on
you, eat lightly for a few days
largely fruit juices, clear

5. A hot bath, a hot drink

should do for home treatment.
A month ago I had what Dr
Frederick C. Smith and a hun

would probably call a "cold"
If I were reckless enough to con

as ever for a few days, including
any fruit juices, soups, milk and

a doctor suggested anything like

The great trouble with these
"anti-sniffle tips" of Dr. Smith's
and the profusion of similar sug
gestions offered the dumb laity
each year by publicity-hungry
doctors and health officers Is
that you never can tell where
prevention ends and treatment
begins and the "authorities"
who hand out the comical rules
know they are safe In sounding
off that way just as long as your
