He faces a maximum sentence of 162 years in prison and a fine of $71,000. CHAPLIN PATERNITY CASE SET FOR APRIL Hollywood. Feb. 21 (IIP! Retrial of Joan Barry's paternity charges against Charlie Chapli today was scheduled to begi April 4. Attorneys for both sides agreed yesterday to change the date from May 2, originally set as the starting time of round two oi the paternity battle.
