Returns From Chico Mrs. J,
F. Cook has .returned to her
home on route 4 from Chico,
v Calif., where her mother, Mrs.
Elizabeth Anderson Brooks,
passed away January 27. The
late Mrs. Brooks was born in
Jackson county November 22,
186S, and lived in the county
many years. She . was buried
January 30 in Chico, where she
had lived for the past seven
years. She is survived also by a
grandaughter, Mrs. Ray Crum
ley, and two great grandchil
dren. Donna Mae and James Ray
mond Crumley, also of route 4
Other relatives include three
brothers and two sisters in Cali
fornia and a sister in Portland.
