Traffic Accident Billy
Elchey, 16, of 421 North Bart
lett, was involved in an automo
bile accident Sunday afternoon
when the vehicle he was operat
ing collided with that of Walter
M. Bergman, S29 North Oak-
dale at West Main and Bartlett
street intersection, according to
a report filed with local police.
Damage to the Richey caj was
estimated at 33 in the report.
Car Window Broken Pvt
Lazar Palanink, Camp White
soldier, was arrested by mill
tary police Monday night after
thrusting his fist through a win
dow of a car parked on North
Bartlett streeet and injuring his
hand, according to a police re
port. The soldier was walking
along Bartlett street with an

panions when he smashed the

Sentence Suspended Knoble
Moore, 40 year old native of

Driver Asleep At Wheel A
report was filed today by Hom
er A. Sullivan, 534 Hamilton
street stating that his automo-
otle had careened across the!
lawn of a residence at South
Newtown and W. Main street
Tuesday shortly, before, mid
night after he apparently went
to sleep at the wheel. He said
he was proceeding west on West
6th street and must have crossed
Newtown while dosing, before
hitting the lawn. Damage was
reported to the front lawn yard,
but the driver did not state ex
tent of same to his automobile.

Schmidt and daughter. Jacque
line, arrived in Medford yester
day to join Mr, Sehmidt who
came to Medford several months
ago to become secretary of the
Medford Y.M.OA. The Schmidt
